Required. TD will assign ratings for those who are not USCF rated. If there are late arrivals and/or odd number of players TD may start additional games with reduced time controls so next round may start on time. We will try to accommodate not pairing family members or those that normally play each other a lot in rated games. Please advise the TD. We will use the Official February Rating List. TD has discretion to use more current or to allow some youths who are not 1000 to play. if any games are finished quickly and you would like to play another rated game at a reduced time contol, please ask TD. Could even do some rated Blitz! Equipment is provided, but if you prefer to play with your equipment then that is fine: Normal black's choice. Reminders: (please ask if you need more details) o QUIET especially in playing areas. o Problem? stop clock & notify TD to help resolve. o Touch Move o You may only adjust pieces when it is your move (I adjust) o Must keep score o After less than 5 mins left on either clock, neither player needs to keep score. o Please write down you moves after you make it so it is not thought that you are taking notes.
