Entry Fee Main Event:

$80 after February 18, 2018

Online registration will be closed automatically on
Thursday February 22, 11:59 pm EST
(1 minute before midnight).

After that Onsite Entries will receive automatic half point bye for round 1.

Entry Fee Blitz:
$30 per player

Entry Fee Bughouse:
$30 per team!.
Bughouse registration can be done online during main registration.
Just pay $30 for your team. Your partner need to pay you 50% of the entry fee.

Eligibility and Special Notes

All Participants Must Have USCF Membership

All Players Must Attend a School or Live in North Carolina

K-1 Players Sunday Option: Players will be spotted a ½ point for every full point earned in K-1 section when entered into the K-3 section. We will round down for any quarter fractions in score.

Webcast Top Boards: Players on top boards in any section may be offered a USCF approved or non-approved digital tools provided by the organizer. Games will be broadcasted over the internet for public viewing.

Withdrawals: If you cannot attend rounds as expected and must leave the event, please visit Chess Control/Registration area to confirm.

Byes: Up to three ½ point byes allowed. Must declare before tournament begins.

Teams: Minimum of 4 players in the same section to qualify as a team. Teams may consist of many players, but only top 4 scores count toward overall team score. Home School teams can be made up of players in the same zip code.
